Today Was a Good Day
Monday, March 17, 2014Today was a really fantastic day. We got a puppy yesterday. So we spent the entire day playing with her and going out to the pet store to buy her presents. (We also bought gifts for our cat, Courage, who currently hates us for bringing home a new fur baby). Pepper, our 7 week old boxer-lab mix, is fun and energetic at times, but also spends a lot of time sleeping, as puppies tend to do.
If Andre hadn't had been with me today, I would have spent all the money I had, and then some on Pepper and Courage. So, I may sneak away for a few hours tomorrow to see what else I can find.
While we were out, Andre convinced me to eat at Five Guys for lunch. I've only eaten there once before, years ago, and I hated it. But I gave it a chance, because I always pick where we eat. And surprisingly, I really enjoyed it. The burger (I got a bacon cheeseburger) was to die for and the fries were actually les greasy than I thought they'd be. So, he won, and I will be eating there again.
On another note, we only have one episode left of Breaking Bad, and I'm really sad about that. However, I'm really glad they didn't stretch the series too far and have a really horrible ending, like other shows have done (note: Dexter). This series looks to have a promising ending. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
