How to Style an Oversized Sweatshirt

Saturday, I went out and about a little bit. It was the first weekend since the start of the year that I didn't have something I had to do, so I met Andre for lunch and did a little shopping. I wasn't in the mood to get all dressed up, so I did the opposite. I dressed down, but kept it somewhat structured. I wore my favorite sweatshirt with something leggings, but I thought it would be a good opportunity to share how I dress up my favorite sweatshirt, because sometimes life can get lazy and you just need to wear your sweatshirt.

1. Start with your favorite oversized sweatshirt. Roll the sleeves once, at the seam, and push them up only slightly.

2. Wear a slim pant. This can be jeggings, skinny jeans, or leggings, but make sure your leggings are thick enough to be worn as pants. Mine are structured with details on the seams. I rolled them up for a casual look.

3. Throw on a fun, printed sneaker. My sneakers had a floral detail, and so did my sweatshirt. This was not an accident.

4. Don't forget to wear jewelry. I wore my basics: a dainty necklace, my engagement ring, earrings and my FitBit Flex (I changed the wristband to pink so it would match.)

5. And of course, since you're trying to be lazy, don't overdo it with the makeup. I simply swiped on some mascara and some lipstick, and threw my hair into a ponytail.

Voila! A lazy day sweatshirt outfit.

K.
