This weekend, Andre, Julie and her husband Jon, and I all went to Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Gardens. I had been a couple of years ago with my family, but Andre, Julie, and Jon had never been before. It was so exciting, because it's such a beautiful light show (named in the top 10 Christmas light shows by National Geographic). We rode in the Jolley Trolley, a covered wagon pulled by a truck, so I couldn't get the best pictures, but here are a few I was able to get.

The show is lit by over 8 million lights. It's gorgeous, and I would definitely like to go back in the future when we have a kid or two. I loved the lit trees, and how they reflected on the water.

I also loved Snowflake Lane and all the light strings that looked like falling snowflakes. It was magical!

The light show was so magical, we had a Christmas miracle-a smiling hubby!

Next year, I'd love to go to the lights at the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta!

  2. It looks like such a cool place! I love going to places that are decorated for Christmas but I've been a slacker this year. A beautiful spot around here is the Opryland Hotel, we went there a couple of years ago and it was really festive.

    1. I google Opryland Christmas lights, and WOW! It looks gorgeous (and it's so inexpensive!). I worked retail for several years, so this is only my second year getting to really enjoy the holidays, so I've been really pushing to do so many holiday things!
