Honestly, 2017 wasn't the worst. But I'm always excited for a new year. And with that a new set of goals. My 101 in 1001 is set to expire in February 2019, so this year I will spend a lot of focus on some of my 101 in 1001 goals. 



adventure, fun, & new things
Travel somewhere new. I'm hoping for New York (Hello, The Cursed Child!). 
Go wine-tasting in the mountains.
Take a girls only weekend trip.
Go paddle-boating.
See a movie at the drive-in.
Go to a concert.
Attend to a sporting event at my university.
Try new foods. ✔



health, beauty & fitness
Don't eat out for an entire month.

Get weight under 200 pounds.
Drink nothing but water for one week.
Continue working on A1C levels.
Complete a 5k.
Walk 10,000 steps at least 20 days out of each month for six full months.
Dye my hair a fun color. ✔


home 
DIY a furniture project. 
Host dinner at our home.


finances 
Start working on a budget.
Open a credit union account.
Buy only the essentials for one month.

Save $1000.


blog
Work on updating blog posts.
Increase Bloglovin' following.




books & tv
Read 65 books.
Complete the 2018 POPSUGAR reading challenge.
See the midnight premiere of Fantastic Beasts.
Clear out some of our Netflix queue.



create & learn 
Finish wedding/first year of marriage scrapbook.
Create a one second a day video for one full year.

Take a three-year anniversary trip.

Volunteer.

It's a lot, I know - but I'm hoping for a big, productive year!

  1. I love how you have everything categorized...it keeps things organized and realistic! I was actually just looking at Cursed Child tickets yesterday, trying to decide if it's possible! Happy New Year!

    1. Yes. I like to sort goals through a S.M.A.R.T. goal process, so the organization definitely helps with that.

      Good luck with the Cursed Child tickets - I haven't been able to get chosen for the lottery yet. :(

  2. Great goals! I love New York and want to visit at Christmas time but not sure how many trips we will take this year. Chuck wants to check out Seattle and that sounds fun to me! Happy New Year friend!
