We may be, quite literally, grounded at the moment by the effects of the global Covid-19 pandemic, and feeling stuck in a rut but that means now is the time to dream and plan our travels for when things have become more normal again and it's safe to travel again. Florida is a great place to travel because there is so much to do, plus it's so close to us in Georgia. It's renowned for its great nightlife, scenic beaches, theme parks, and party spirit. So if you're interested in partying and it's safe to party again, here are some popular clubs in Florida you might want to visit!

Club LIV Miami Beach

If you're looking for an oceanside party, then Miami Beach has to be the premier destination. It's known across the world for it's see-and-be-seen style. There's a sweep of white sand, turquoise oceans and a dramatic backdrop of beautiful art deco pastel mansions and modern glass high-rise buildings. Club LIV is perhaps the best known nightclub, and often hosts big name DJs like Calvin Harris and visiting celebrities such as the Kardashian sisters. If you don't feel like hitting the dance floor, you can have a more chilled out evening with a few martinis at The Sunset Lounge at The Mondrian Hotel while taking in those amazing views.

Sweet Liberty

If cocktails are more your bag, you can't miss a trip to Sweet Liberty cocktail bar in the Collins Park area. Laidback, sexy and full of Florida vibes, the custom cocktail menu offers so many different recipes to sample - starting with the 'Basic Bitch' and working your way through the rest. With a brilliant playlist of tunes and a tasty food menu as well, you can easily while away an evening here - although you may need to call on the services of Mobile IV therapy to help you recover the next day if you overindulge!

Basement

If you appreciate a quirky experience, Basement in Miami is a good choice. A neon-lit dance club, skating rink and bowling alley it's a great location for a night of fun and games. Located in the basement level of the Edition Hotel, DJs like Questlove are regularly to be found playing here. Every corner of this venue screams 'please Instagram me!' and there's so many different things to do, you'll never get bored.

No3 Social

For that rooftop bar vibe, you can't beat No3 Social in Wynwood. It's a sophisticated venue boasting incredibly beautiful views and clientele. From renowned chef Norman Van Aken, the food is everything you'd expect and is complemented by a great wine and cocktail list too. There are added attractions too in the form of regular happy hours (even at the weekend), live bands, cinema nights and even a ladies evening, meaning there's always something new to discover.

Cycle Party

Cycle Party in Fort Lauderdale offers a way to sightsee and get your party on in one! It's a mobile bar that a group of friends can hire to pedal round the city. Fun guides can point out the sights and keep the drinks flowing, making it a great way to start off your evening.

I've never been to Miami, but it's always been on the list. Have you ever visited Miami? What's your favorite Miami bar, restaurant, or club?
