Thursday, 12/22: A coworker brought in some donuts to work from a local donut shop, and jeez Louise. were they good. This one's a carrot cake (my favorite).

Friday, 12/23: Finished up some last minute gift wrapping before hoping over to my parents' house for Christmas festivities.

Saturday, 12/24: Merry Christmas Eve folks.

Sunday, 12/25: Hubby gifted me with the best presents ever! How awesome is he?

Wednesday, 12/28: Andre and I had dinner with my friend, Julie, and she gave me this awesome Marauders Map mug (it's bigger than my face!), and a sugar-free cookbook and a Fantastic Beasts calendar!

Thursday, 12/29: Just sharing some teatox bags during my last few days of my SkinnyMint teatox.

Friday, 12/30: More lounging. Just living the life here, y'all!

Saturday, 12/31: Happy New Year's Eve! Andre and I stopped by the local donut shop (where the carrot cake donut above came from) and got coffee and some donuts. I got the carrot cake again. It's just too good!

How was your last week of 2016?

We're almost there, folks. Christmas is this weekend and New Years is the next. Where has the time gone? It's just slipping away, and here's what I've been doing with it.

Thursday, 12/15: We celebrated the holidays in the office with a get-together featuring finger foods and dirty Santa. We had a blast! (And while it may look like we're urging you all to ROCK ON, we're really just making wolf heads with our hands.)

Friday, 12/16: It was a sad day to see Lyndssey go. She started in the office at the beginning of the year, but circumstances have her and her husband moving out of state! I will miss her greatly, but wish her all the luck!

Saturday, 12/17: Most of the family headed out to dinner this night, and I snapped this picture of little man. He is so adorable! (Not pictured: his cowboy boots and straw hat!)

Sunday, 12/18: After lunch with the MIL, we headed back home for a lazy evening in. Here's Courage being cute and cuddly wrapped up in a blanket.

Monday, 12/19: A co-worker delivered delicious homemade cookies around the office. So much yum!

Tuesday, 12/20: Snapped a picture of my bookshelf for use in a post, but ended up not using it, so here it is.

Wednesday, 12/21: Late night detox tea and a book of poetry.

Week 50 of 52? Is that right? I can't believe that this year is almost over. There were a lot of ups, and many downs, but we've made it through and 2017 is almost here. Can you believe it?

So, let's talk about what I've been up to this week.

Thursday, 12/8: I was so proud of my little can people (I'm just so impressed with their hands, lol.) Our office came in  fifth, but dangit, we tried!

Friday, 12/9: Friday night, Andre and I spent the evening eating Japanese food, then we rented Ghostbusters (which I enjoyed, but it definitely didn't beat the original).

Saturday, 12/10: Andre and I attended his company Christmas party (a first for both of us!). We had a wonderful time and didn't even get home until 2, which never happens since my bedtime is like 9. (Make sure to check out our fun party GIF here.)

Sunday, 12/11: I went over to a friends for her annual DIY/Baking night. It was a blast, always (this is my second year going). I took this picture on her dining room table before all the baking began!

Monday, 12/12: A couple of friends and I had lunch together (pizza buffet, woohoo!), and one of them surprised the other two of us with these adorable candy-stuffed mugs! These Target mugs are my favorite, so I was so pleased she got me one!

Tuesday, 12/13: I finally got my first Funko Pop vinyl, and of course I got Dobby. I had a $10 GameStop gift card from My Coke Rewards, so I purchased this little fellow for only $9. He's so cute, and I can't wait to start the rest of my collection!

Wednesday, 12/14: I spent a few hours of the evening wrapping gifts for my work friends, as we will be celebrating as an office today (Thursday), and a ton of people will be out of vacation next week! Of course, Courage wanted in on the festivities.

We have just three weeks left of 2016. Can you believe it? It's about time for this year to be over, right? It's been a pretty crazy one! Follow along below to see what I got up to this past week.

Friday, 12/2: Just spending some time out on the back porch on a Friday night!

Saturday, 12/3: Saturday was a struggle to get most of my final paper completed before Monday. I left the house once, and that was just for food.

Sunday, 12/4: I made some delicious chicken and dumplings based off a recipe from Mar over at To & Fro. It was my first time ever making them, and it was easy thanks to Mar. Next time, I'll need to cook the dumplings longer, but other than that, this recipe was A+.

Monday, 12/5: I was super excited to receive Starbucks ornaments from Erin over at Home Everyday through a SoFab ornament exchange. The weirdest thing, USPS actually delivered them to my door on a Sunday (SO WEIRD!).

Tuesday, 12/6: Took a quick break Tuesday afternoon to enjoy this delicious Big Kat. Seriously, those are the best kind of Kit Kats.

Wednesday, 12/7: Every year, my division hosts a holiday party, and each department donates cans, which we decorate for table centerpieces. I made these adorable little can people (one for each department), complete with tiny eyes and tiny arms. They make me giggle every time I look at them!

Hi there, friends. Happy December! December! It's been a while, right? Well, since I posted a week in photos post. Last Thursday was Thanksgiving, so I a little unplugged and just too busy eating, sleeping, shopping, and chatting to get a post up. I apologize! But I'm back and I've got my last two weeks worth of photos to give you some joy (if that's the kind of thing that gives you joy)!

Thursday, 11/17: I knew I'd be out late watching Fantastic Beasts, so I had a mid-day coffee break (snowman cookie included)!

Saturday, 11/19: I had to go get my car serviced, which is out of town a little ways, so Andre and I ate somewhere new (Meat & Greet in Newnan, GA). Oh my goodness, it was so good. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life!

Sunday, 11/20: I finally got around to opening the giant package I'd received the day before to reveal this gorgeous print.

Monday, 11/21: I received an ornament in the mail from my ornament exchange buddy. I am so excited about it. The post (link-up) is happening December 13, so make sure to come back then to see what I received!

Tuesday, 11/22: I started working on a nice little DIY with these rugs. That post will be up in the coming weeks!

Wednesday, 11/23: Andre and I have discovered our new favorite Mexican restaurant, which we've gone to at least once a week for the past three weeks. We are loving this place. (One word: buffet) Also, how pretty is this building?

Thursday, 11/24: Happy Thanksgiving from the Miller girls. Me, my sissies, and my mommy. I love these ladies!

Friday, 11/25: I snatched myself some comfy new jammies from Kohl's during hybrid Thanksgiving/Black Friday shopping and basically have lived in them since (you know, besides going out in public, but once I get home, these bad boys are going on.)

Saturday, 11/26: Funny story. I stayed up late with several plans to get this tablet for $30 (Amazon, Target, Staples, Best Buy. I had plans for them all online). I ordered it, and then there were still literally hundreds left at Best Buy in-store when we went Saturday. Anyways. I also received this in the mail on Saturday straight from Amazon, already loaded with my info on it. What? Technology is weird, guys.

Sunday, 11/27: I'm almost there y'all. Just one week left of my first semester of graduate school. Fingers crossed I've got all As and Bs. (Keep me in your thoughts!)

Tuesday, 11/29: After who even knows how long of no rain, then a severe drought in our area and surrounding areas with wildfires (it's gotten really bad in Gatlinburg, TN. Prayers, prayers for everyone. It is so tragic!), we got a crazy amount of rain on Tuesday (and an actual tornado on Wednesday. What is this world?).

Wednesday, 11/30: It was a pretty good mail day, y'all. We got some Christmas gifts (for others) in the mail! Plus, I received this awesome blanket (that I actually may wear as a scarf, lol) from my Secret Santa blogger buddy! Yippee!

Sooooo, if you read all of that, please let me know how your last couple of weeks have been! Mine sure were busy (and I'm still exhausted)!

Well, we have just six weeks left of 2016. Mind blowing, guys. I can't even believe that Thanksgiving is next week. Apparently, this is what growing up feels like.

Also, if you weren't aware, Fantastic Beasts is premiering tonight! Woohoo! I am so dang excited. :) :) :)

Friday, 11/11: I had to pick up a case of water on my way home, so naturally, I went to Target to browse. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that the Dollar Spot had been re-arranged. This is everyone's favorite part of the store (tell me it's not, I'll be genuinely surprised!), but does anyone else remember when everything was actually a dollar here? Then it progressed to $3, then $5, now $7 and $9. If it creeps to $10 or above, it definitely needs to be in a different part of the store. It's the DOLLAR SPOT for crying out loud. (Does anyone else feel the slightest bit aggravated about this, or just me?)

Saturday, 11/12: My sisters and I participated in a walk for diabetes, and it took place at the Ted. It was nice to get to enjoy the stadium one last time (and walk the field), since next season the Braves will be in their brand new Suntrust stadium. (PS. There will be a full post on the Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes Monday.)

Sunday, 11/13: I convinced Andre to take some pictures together, so we at least have some nice pictures annually. This one was so random and pretty to me.

Monday, 11/14: Courage hoped up on these blankets and sat so still like this for so long. It really had me cracking up. She was like a statue! (Also, isn't she just so pretty and fluffy? I love her.)

Wednesday, 11/16: I got an odd package via inter-office mail, and it was a yummy k-cup from a friend in Admissions. How sweet, right?
