Vegas itself is a show, so if you’re a first-time visitor, there might be no desire to see a show in one of the hotels, but if you do, there are plenty to choose from. Vegas is all about its hotels which aren’t just for spending the night - they also have casinos, bars, and famous shows. Vegas is a mecca for those planning a bachelor party too, so there are also certain types of shows to consider for that subset of events if that’s why you’re headed out there. Realistically, you could stay in your hotel the entire time, but still have a total blast.

If you want to visit a show in Las Vegas, it won’t be hard to find one since they are advertised everywhere. The problem you will have is trying to decide which show to choose. The good news is there are plenty of classics to see, such as David Copperfield, the Blue Man Show, or Penn and Teller, as well as more modern classics that are must-see. 



Take a tour 

When you visit Las Vegas, you might expect to spend the entire time in the city at the roulette table. It’s true that this is what you will probably do most of the time, but Vegas offers much more besides. There's an expanse of desert surrounding the city with interesting things to see.

Choose from a helicopter or an ATV to visit the Hidden Valley and see some of the spectacular landscapes and wildlife in the area. The Grand Canyon and the Colorado River are also in the areas and are obviously worthwhile visiting, so drag yourself away from the tables and get some fresh air. Many even offer shuttles directly from the hotels.

Seek some thrills

In Las Vegas, there's a lot of competition - competition between the punters and the croupiers, and there is competition between all the hotels. It’s all about which Las Vegas NV Hotels can be the loudest and the most interesting, and some of them even have rollercoasters or attractions specific to them.

It might surprise you how far the hotels are willing to go to catch your eyes and draw in your business. Expect to see plenty of thrill rides in the city, including tower rides, rollercoasters, ziplines, and even a literal shark tank slide. So if you want some off-the-table thrills as well, you don’t have to look far.

Places of interest

Education and learning aren’t two words you would immediately associate with Las Vegas, not unless you’re talking about learning the tables and hopefully walking away from your trip with a fistful of dollars. But, don’t forget, Las Vegas is mob-land and has some museums to prove it.

If you’re interested in the exploits of the mob and gangster culture from previous decades, head along to the many museums to find out more. It always makes a trip more interesting if you can come away with some reliable information to tell your friends back home about. 

There are also incredible museums about Cannabis, neon "graveyards," and so much more.    

Enjoy the food

Don’t forget about the food! As if you need reminding! Las Vegas has every type of food imaginable, from delicious street food to exquisite meals with incredible views in the hotels. There’s a difference between vacation food and home food so remember to treat yourself.

If you were to only have a small amount of Brussels sprouts, such as half a cup, then you'd still be getting nearly 10% of your daily requirement of fiber. The reason why fiber is important in the diet is that it helps to keep you healthy, and helps to keep you regular. So if you're looking to look after yourself and a healthy gut, then Brussels sprouts can certainly help.

As well as the other benefits of Brussels sprouts, they can go a long way to help to keep your blood sugar levels in check. There are a number of studies into this that have found that a regular intake of sprouts can help to decrease your risk of diabetes. Half a plan  

You read that right. The first thing to do is come up with at least half of a plan. The thing is that a lot of the fun of traveling comes from being able to just go and do whatever it is that you want to. If you want to just explore a new area, you can. If you want to go and see a historic site - do that too. But have at least half of a plan so that you don’t leave feeling disappointed.

Make sure to have a look at the top ranked hotels wherever you’re staying to ensure that you’re going to be comfortable during your trip. Also, make sure to have the right transportation arrangements for while you’re there. If you don’t, finding somewhere to stay and transport could end up being a nightmare, dragging the fun out of your holiday. Don’t let this happen, just plan ahead for all of the important things and the rest will work itself out. 

Have enough money

If you’re traveling, it’s important to make sure that you’ve got enough money to do it the way you want to. If you don’t, then you’re likely going to be begrudging that you’re having to survive off what you have, likely meaning that your trip isn’t going to be all you wanted it to be. Instead of jumping straight in and feeling like you have to go on your trip right now, just wait a while. Wait until you can save up enough money to make it a trip that is really worth going on, not one that you have rushed through. Keep in mind though that if you’re just ready to explore, maybe accommodations and transportation costs (plus food) are all you need to worry about. We’re all a little different in what are needs and wants are. 



Go with people you love

If you’re not going to go on your own, make sure you’re going on your holiday with people you love. You don’t want to go with people who are going to suck the joy out of the whole experience as this would make it a waste of a trip in the first place. Being happy and having fun throughout the trip is the number one priority, and this means that you’re going to have to think carefully about who’s going with you.

It could be some family members and you are going to have some fun together. Or go on a trip with your friends. It depends who’s available, who wants to go, and what you are hoping to achieve on this holiday. Talk to people about expectations, destination ideas and so on and see what people come up with. Oftentimes I plan the people first, and the destination later.   



Head somewhere awesome

Speaking of destinations, you should be heading somewhere awesome. Before lockdown happened, we bet that you had a list, or at least one place that you really wanted to visit that you had never been to at all. If you had a list, then you can ask your traveling companions which one they would best like to go to.

Try to choose somewhere that’s going to be the most amount of fun for your group. Think about all the things that there are to do in each of the places, and then work out which you want to do the most. This will guide you where to go if you are still struggling to choose.



Remember your love of adventure

Finally, if you want to make traveling fun again then you need to remember your love of adventure. It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you don’t want to travel and that you are happy to just stay in the hotel when you are on a trip, but who are you trying to kid? If you loved adventure once, you will always love it and you need to follow it while you’re in a new place. Let yourself be free, let yourself roam around new places and find new things that you didn’t know existed. Have a fantastic time by allowing yourself to love the adventure that you’ve always adored.
