This week started out a little downhill, and I had to climb my way out, but I made it through, and now it's Friday!

The donuts are heart shaped at Dunkin Donuts. This is always my favorite thing about Valentine's Day; hearts are everywhere, and I love hearts. I'm such a girly-girl.

My wedding shoes came in, so I'm excited to get something else checked off the list! I went with blue, but that's all the details that are coming out, for now.

Andre and I had a great little weekend adventure this past weekend. You can see that post here. We visited the high museum in Atlanta, and got to see great treasures like this one below.

I went last night and saw The Vagina Monologues for the third time. Every time the experience is slightly different, but it's eye-opening each and every time. Plus, the proceeds go to the local emergency shelter, and so that's a pretty amazing cause.

The succulent plant my parents gave me last week is still alive, though I can't be sure for how long. I had four blooms, but one lost it's leaves, so I replanted it this morning in a plastic cup with holes cut into the bottom. I've been using the ice cube trick to water it once a week.

So, here's to hoping I can keep my plant alive! Keep it in your thoughts and prayers.

xx,
K.

    1. It's a very easy, lazy trick for watering your plants. Whenever it's time to water, you simply place an ice cube (or several, depending on the size of your plant) onto the plant's soil. It will melt, letting the soil easily, evenly absorb the water. It helps you to not over water your plants.

    1. Thanks, Katie! It's still alive (for now!), so hopefully I can keep it that way.

And I did! I hope you did, as well!
