I don't know about y'all, but I basically live in my office. I'm there at least 9 hours each day, if not closer to 10 or 11 hours. Since I'm in my office so much, it's really important to me that it feels homey. On a regular basis, my office is decked out in pictures and fun little nick-nacks, but I also brought in some extras for Christmas to keep me in the spirit at work.

It's important to me that my office smells good. I have a super cute wax melter, and I change out the scents with the season. I get a ton of compliments because the scents can usually be smelled throughout the building. Right now I'm using Febreze Frosted Pine. It is one of my favorite smells in the world, so I love when it's Christmas time and I get to use it.

I brought in a small Christmas tree as well, because why not? This was mine and Andre's first Christmas tree before we got a bigger, 6-foot tree. I love this one for the office, because I don't have to do anything extra with it. The pinecones and ribbons are already attached, so it's good to go. The gifts are extra fun, since they're for some co-workers.

My door is open throughout the day (if I'm in the office), but I love having some small things on my door, so I can share my Christmas spirit, even when I'm not at work.

This awesome cardboard moose head came from the dollar area at Target. It was there with the Christmas items, but truly, I think I'll leave it up after the holidays. It's just so dang cute.

And no Christmas spirit is complete without the music to back it up. Truly, the Christmas music is one of the major things I miss about working retail at Christmas. I love the fun, poppy Christmas music! Check out my CHRISTMAS! playlist on Spotify. I've been listening to it on repeat.

How do you share your Christmas spirit at work?

  1. Kayla, your office tour was a brilliant idea! Target is one of my favorite places to go because during the holidays they have so many cute decorations in the $1 section. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Love your office decorations! I can't burn candles or do wax melts in my building, but I do have a few decorations like a tiny tree and a snowman-shaped snow globe. Plus, the Christmas tunes on Pandora are going all day! Softly, but I can hear them!

    1. Oh, I hate that for you. We can't have candles, but the wax melts are okay. And my music is very low too, but it's there in the background and it makes me so happy!
Your snow globe sounds so cute!

    1. I am just full of the Christmas spirit! :) And I know when I bought the cardboard moose head, it was one of only two left, and I go to Target basically everyday. I think they all just sold out the day they arrived!!

  6. You must be high up if you have your own office! :) I bet it smells lovely right now. I'm loving the spicy/apple cinnamon scents at the moment, though I think my senses are off as I can never smell them out of the packaging! I really like your blog design by the way :) xx

    1. Oh no. Definitely not high up. I work in student affairs, so we work with a lot of sensitive and confidential information so we mostly have our own offices. But that pine scent is filling the whole building. It's glorious!

And thank you so much. I'm not great with the html and design aspects so I appreciate that! Thank you so much for visiting!

    1. Of course! And cutesy things like twinkle lights (if white or clear) would be cute year-round!
