If you know anything about me, you know I love fiction. Whether it's books, movies, or television shows, I get sucked in and oddly invested in fictional characters. So, in honor of the month of love (aka February), I wanted to share with you fifteen of my favorite fictional romances.*

Books
Ron & Hermione (Harry Potter) - I know that J.K. Rowling said that she should have never placed them together, but I will forever love Ron and Hermione as a couple. I don't appreciate what The Cursed Child did to their relationship, but the Ron and Hermione I know are perfect together.
Remus & Nymphadora (Harry Potter) - This one makes me sad to even talk about, but I loved Tonks and Lupin together, and I hate that Teddy never got to know them.
Augustus & Hazel (The Fault in Our Stars) - John Greene is a writer that can make me laugh out loud and sob my eyes out, which was exactly the case in TFIOS. The story is such a heartbreaking one, but it was one that I can read over and over again.
Sookie & Sam (The Sookie Stackhouse Series) - I won't tell you the way that the Sookie Stackhouse series ends, but I will say it was better than how True Blood ended. Out of all of Sookie's relationships throughout the books, her with Sam was my favorite. I felt like he was just right for her.
Cassie & Evan (The Fifth Wave) - I'm usually anti-weird relationships. Vampires/human, werewolves/humans, beings that don't age so they're 500 years old dating a teenage human. I'll read them and watch them all day, but deep down inside I just can't get past it. This one probably falls into that category, but whatever. I really liked them together.

Movies
Wade & Vanessa (Deadpool) - I loved Deadpool, but I've never read the graphic novels. So sue me. Anyways, Wade Wilson is hilarious, but the fact that the movie basically revolves around how much he loves Vanessa just gets to me. Also, Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest people - Deadpool is a gem.
Peter & Rachel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) - I'll watch anything Jason Segel is in. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of my favorite romantic comedies and will have you rolling on the floor. I love the relationship between his character and Mila Kunis' character in this movie. It is so funny and sweet.
Henry & Lucy (50 First Dates) - Adam Sandler's character, Henry, is so sweet in this movie. He has to win Lucy (Drew Barrymore) over every single day for forever. How true is that love?
Oliver & Emily (A Lot Like Love) - This was probably the first modern romantic comedy that I fell in love with. For some reason, the goofiness and the awkwardness of the relationships always seemed so true to me, to an extent. I will forever love A Lot Like Love.
Mike & Phoebe (American Ultra) - If you haven't seen American Ultra, watch it right away. It's on Netflix. It stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kirsten Stewart, who always make a great couple. They both play awkward amazingly well. This movie is a little actiony and partially sci-fi, and totally perfect!

Television Shows
Kurt & Blaine (Glee) - Hands down the best relationship on the entire show. They are both so precious, and I just know I'd be best friends with both of them!
Donna & Eric (That 70s Show) - These two were always the perfect teenage television couple!
Lily & Marshall (How I Met Your Mother) - Relationship goals, am I right? The show was less about Ted and more about Lily and Marshall and how perfect they are together!
Max & Liz (Roswell) - Okay, okay. He's an alien. It's one of those weird relationships, but I don't care. He only ever wanted to protect her, but wasn't creepy and controlling like some vampire boyfriends we may know.
Eric & Tami (Friday Night Lights) - FNL seemed so realistic to me. I loved so many people on that show, but Coach Taylor and Tami were so in sync.

*This list is definitely not all-inclusive. There are an impossible amount of movies, shows, and books to sift through, and these are just a few that stood out to me! Believe me, this list was much longer two days ago!

  3. Girl, I've gotten in so many arguments with people about Ron and Hermione! They belong together. They bring out the best in each other. Opposites attract. She helps him see how great he is and he brings her down to earth! I love it!

    1. I agree with you. People tend to think Ron is too moody and blah blah, but let's remember the time that Hermione sent birds flying at his head in HBP.

  6. I love SO MANY of these couples! I've thought about doing a post like this. The top couples that spring to my mind right away are Ron & Hermione (I love that you kind of expected Hermione & Harry to be together because he's the "main" character and that's how it usually goes--and their relationship is just awesome), Jim & Pam (The Office), and Chandler & Monica (Friends). But also Lily and Marshall.

    1. Yes, I agree with all of your's too, and they were mostly on my list before I shortened it! I went a little overboard at first with tv show couples!

  7. We had an amazing event at wedding venues NYC this past weekend. We had a friend create some custom drink options that the bartenders served throughout the night and the designer easily collaborated with the space to address her needs.
