It's that time again - the weekly recap.

May 5: Every Cinco de Mayo, we wake up early and stand in line to be one of the first fifty people inside Moe's and get a free tee shirt. This year was no different. Just look at that happiness on my face.

May 6: Seriously, I love to nothing on my lunch break more than hole up in my office and read. This one? The Chicago Way by Michael Harvey.

May 7: The past few years, we always take the moms out the day before Mother's Day. It was such a nice day for the four of us to spend time together.

May 8: I did a little Goodwill shopping and found these treasures.

May 9: Monday morning sucked a little less when a couple of co-workers showed up with treats for me to borrow!

May 10: Just a picture of my favorite little baby.

May 11: I got half-way through this book after work on Wednesday. I can't wait to finish the rest of it! It's our first monthly read for the book club I got going at work.

  2. Whaaaat?! I didn't know Moe's gave out free t-shirts! That's awesome! Very smart of you guys to take the moms out the day before- I'm sure everywhere was much less crowded! You got some great reads- Sharp Objects was my favorite Gillian Flynn's novels. Excited to see what you think of it!

    1. It's only "participating" Moe's, but seriously, when are there not participating locations? It used to be like the first 200 people, then 100. Now it's the first 50 people. I'm sure it will dwindle down even more.
And yes! We do the same thing with Valentine's Day. It just makes more sense to us.
Awesome! I can't wait to read it. I also recently found Gone Girl. I haven't read any Gillian Flynn yet, but I'm very excited to start!
