If you've been following along with the blog for a while, you'll know that Andre and I got married in September of 2015. Since then, I have had an obsession with having print photos, for everything from scrapbooking to framing for our (eventual) gallery wall. I've tried several photo-printing services, but I haven't been as impressed with any as I am with Mpix. Our wedding photographer (who also happens to be my mom's cousin) recommended Mpix when she sent us our engagement photos, and I'm so glad she did!
All of the products from Mpix are handcrafted and personally reviewed by an actual person before being shipped out, and it's obvious when looking at the prints received from them. As I mentioned, I've tried other photo-printing services, but the pictures aren't crisp; the colors aren't vibrant. I haven't had that issue with Mpix. Since the products are handcrafted, the colors are vibrant and true.
I mentioned Mpix last year in this post about the gifts Andre and I gave our moms for Christmas. I took pictures of the pictures, and look how beautiful they are.
This year, I was thrilled to partner with Mpix for a few Christmas gifts, including ornaments and a framed print. I have never had a photo professionally framed and I was more than happy with the product I received from Mpix. This particular print was created using their pre-made collage templates. All I had to do was upload the picture, select the frame, mounting option, and glass, and my print was ready to be created and shipped out. Several of their collages have the option to be printed and framed, printed on metal, or made into a gallery canvas wrap. You can customize your text (we chose to just go with the year) and arrange your photos through zooming, shifting, and rotating.
One of my favorite things about having the photo professionally framed is that it included the wire hanger, which is my favorite frame backing. We chose to go with a photo of us and just one picture, but there are so many different options, that the variety is endless.
I was also very pleased with the metal ornaments we ordered. Very easy to create, the ornaments also included the year, so they make a wonderful keepsake for your own tree to send out in lieu of holiday cards. There are several options to choose from, and all you have to do is add your photo.

Mpix has beautiful products ranging from prints in a variety of sizes, to wall art, to several photo gift options. I am a huge fan of personalized and practical gifts, and photo gifts are wonderful gifts for family for any holiday.
