The 90s was poppin' when it came to fashion. There's seriously so much I love from that decade (obviously, since I was born in 1990 making me a true 90s baby). The fashion from such a hot decade is gradually coming back and I wanted to share my seven favorite 90s trends that just about anybody can pull off.

01. sheer button down with mini skirt (or high-waisted shorts)
Throwing it back to Clueless with this look.

Sheer shirt, polka dot shorts, and wrap skirt all thrifted.

02. bold hair color
Something about the 90s is so edgy to me, even the preppier styles, but bold hair definitely appeals to those wanting an edgier look.

I've had terrific experience using Loreal Colorista semi-permanent colors for my hair. The color faded a bit after the first wash from a denim blue to the more turquoise blue, but it's been fairly long-lasting.

03. mom jeans/boyfriend jeans
The lightwash is ultimately what gives this look such a 90s-vibe.

Shirt from Target. Mom jeans from American Eagle (went up two sizes). Heart choker vintage from my mom. Vans

04. oversized denim jackets
The oversized jacket and the lower breast pockets really emphasize the decade's chill, laidback style.

05. heart shaped sunglasses
I don't care what anyone says - I love how fun these are.

Heart glasses were a gift from Booksparks last summer, but similar can be found here. Shirt from Target.

06. chokers
Slip on a choker with any outfit and I swear, your entire look changes and appears so much edgier.

Choker vintage from my mom.

07. patterned crew socks
Crew socks were killer, and if I'm being honest, are the most comfortable sock style (seriously, these don't fall down into your shoes - the worst!).

Socks from The Spot at Target.

What are some of your favorite 90s fashion looks?

    1. I honestly love chokers, but have a difficult time finding them that are comfortable for my fatass neck! A lot of the time, I end up wearing like a ribbon tied up. Lol! I just love how they look!
