I can't believe it's already been three months since the last 101 in 1001 update. It seems like this year has already gone by so quickly, but this seems to happen quicker and quicker each year. This round will end this February coming up, so I've got a mere ten months left to try to make it happen. I feel like I didn't a ton of things marked off this quarter. Eep! So, fingers crossed for a more effective next quarter. 🤞

Adventure, Fun, & New Things
1. Travel to five new places (at least two new states). We've got a couple things planned for the next month or so, at least one new place I haven't yet been.
30. Try three new types of food. Finished this one up with eating a duck taco, which tasted surprisingly like pork.

Health, Beauty & Fitness
39. Get a crown put on my broken tooth. (Update: Had broken tooth removed. Will have to get a bridge or implant.) I probably won't be getting the implant/bridge this year because I had my wisdom teeth cut out last month, so I'm not actually trying to have more mouth surgery within the next year.

71. Increase my Bloglovin' following to 200. Moved on up to 93!

Books & TV
75. Read all the books I already own that I haven't read yet. (See my list of these books here.) Omg, I've only marked off Gone Girl. Not to mention my stack of owned, unread books has grown substantially.
78. Complete a reading challenge each year. Currently working on this year's challenge!

Create & Learn
84. Create a one second a day video for one full year. I've been working on it all year - I'm so excited to see the finished product January 1, 2019!

Career & Development
99. Complete my Master's degree in Student Affairs/Counseling with a 3.5 or higher GPA. My most recent semesterly GPA was 4.0, so I'm up at this point to a 3.88, but my graduation date will be May 2019 - so I won't finish prior to the end of this round.

  1. Great update, I'm a little late, but working on my list now. Ha! I hope one of those new places gets to be the bday trip you wanted! The dentist in me hates that you had to lose a tooth so young, but it sounds like you've got a great plan to replace it. Also, you are killing it with the reading challenge-I admire you for that

    1. I honestly think about you every time I go to the dentist. Lol. But I had a bike wreck when I was 9 and never was able to have the tooth taken care of because insurance reasons. Now it was too late the salvage it through root canal! :(

And thank you so much. Reading is such a pleasure for me.
