I attended my second-ever bridal show yesterday. Once again I chose the Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta, because there are so many vendors, which means there are a ton of giveaways. This time included four wedding gowns, a honeymoon to Cancun and the Knot's Ultimate giveaway which included a cake, a photographer, hair/makeup, a wedding gown, entertainment, a photobooth, and so much more.

I was pretty sad to not win anything, but I did get all the Keurig beverages I could ever wish for (including a latte on a new Keurig cappuccino maker!). I also took home about 6 of those koozies down there.

I also found a cake that I absolutely love, but chances are, the frugality in me will have me purchasing a cake from Publix and calling it a day (but hey, they can do some pretty awesome cakes at the bakery there, and they taste amazing.)

I also came home with a ton of magazines and a few other small goodies (like a nail file, a pen, a small notepad, etc.).

Chances are, from here on out, I'll stick to online giveaways instead of the hustle and bustle of an overcrowded bridal show. I'd just really like some free things.

How did you make the most of your wedding budget?

  1. Truly very useful information on bridal show. Couple of months ago, I arranged a wedding show at one of the finest NYC wedding venues. The show was open to public and glad to get such great response from all. My friends really liked all the arrangements.
