This week has been a good one.

I started off Sunday by finding the perfect bridesmaids dresses... at Target... for less than $9 each! What?! It's unheard-of. They had them in all the sizes, so everyone was able to get one. Something else to check off the list! Here's a little sneaky-peak of the dress.

I got all of the save-the-dates hand-addressed. It took me several hours and I didn't get to sleep until 2:00 am that night, but they are all addressed. The sad part, I have yet to send them! Ugh, what am I doing? I have the stamps. I just haven't stamped them and threw them in the mailbox yet.

I received my first VoxBox yesterday! I was chosen to receive the Pantene Pro-V VoxBox, so I will be reviewing the product in the next week or so. I'm going to use the product for about five days straight before giving any product reviews.

They put Horns on Netflix and I couldn't be more excited! I read the book Horns by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son that goes by a pen-name) around three years ago and I loved it. It's well-written, it's dark, it's funny. So, when I found out shortly after that they were going to make it a movie starring Daniel Radcliffe, I was so pumped. Then when it came out, it was only in select areas. I kept trying to find it, so I could watch it and I couldn't find it. So, when Andre (being the wonderful man that he is) texted me yesterday when he saw that it had been added to Netflix instant streaming. Naturally, as soon as I got home and made dinner yesterday, I cuddled up in my blankets and watched the movie. I must say, I thought they did a pretty fabulous job. It sticks pretty closely to the book (of course some things were cut.. you can only get so much into two hours.) Dan Rad did a great job portraying main character, Ig Perrish.

In case you've never heard of Horns, it's a novel/film about a man who wakes up after the one-year anniversary of the brutal murder/rape of his girlfriend and he has horns on his head. People start telling him the most horrendous things, but when he's gone, it's like he was never there. But that's just a general overview. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, because it is a must see.

And lastly, I got to take a trip to the Capitol on Monday with work. It was kind of cool, but kind of odd seeing what the senate and legislature are up to all day, but good news... the lunch was delicious.

xx,
K.
